We tested it with real flashings from one of the largest roofing companies in Australia. We now know that the SWI Duplex has at least 57.7% more capacity than a traditional long

folder. In one test, we achieved 82.2% capacity improvement.

Backgauge – Close gripping distance. 2 Gripping as close as 20mm (0.75”). Pushing to 10mm (0.4”). High-speed indexing and optional tapering to 10 degrees.

Inserts – High strength replaceable steel inserts on both upper & lower clamp beams are standard. Both folding aprons also have high strength inserts.

Ease of Use – The SWI Duplex is undoubtedly the easiest to use up & down long folder available. On-screen prompts guide novice operators. Experienced operators can move from one job to the next in seconds.

Recessed Folding – Clever recessed folding apron geometry allows simple manufacture of tophats and small square sections down to 15mm x 15mm (.6” x .6”).

ShopLink Compatible – SWI’s integrated shop floor manufacturing solution provides a seamless connection between your customers and SWI machinery. Jobs can be programmed off-site and sent directly to the machines on the factory floor. The Duplex barcode scanner can automatically recall shapes programmed offline, and fold the blanks processed by the Marxman Pro without any need for shop floor data entry.

Tapering – Simple to enter tapered part detail. Easy to follow on-screen instructions and tapering ratios over 20%. Making complex tapered parts is just as easy as making any flashing.
